About us

Our association is working on equalizing development opportunities for children and young people living in the countryside and in small towns and shaping active citizenship. We want young people to acquire competences that will allow them to actively participate in life of the local community and to take responsibility and solve problems that are important to them. We carry out our mission through direct work with children and young people and by supporting the competences of people and organizations around them. We organize trainings, workshops, study visits, engage volunteers and organize meetings and integration trips.
We have been active for 3 years. We were the first in the region to set up a county grant fund for initiatives carried out by young people and a regular outdoor cinema on the beach. So far, over 360 people have participated in our activities, and 45 youth groups have planned their own projects with our help.

Who are we?

The history of our organization began in 2008, when, as a group of friends, we decided to establish a youth association in Płużnica. Shortly after that, each of us went to high schools and to study in major cities. We were not there, so our activity was occasional. After completing formal education, some people from our group returned to the Płużnica commune and started arranging their lives here.
We noticed that thanks to our activity in the association and participation in projects of other organizations, as very young people we have acquired competences that are useful in our professional work and everyday life. We also noticed that by thinking globally and acting locally, we can further develop and have a real impact on changes taking place in our local community.
Currently, our organization associates 8 people. We use baggage of experience when working with children, teenagers and adults. We also care for the development of our competences through continuous training and taking up new challenges.
